Procedure
1. Check that cooling water is discharged from the cooling water check port during warm-up. 2. Warm the engine at low engine speeds. If ambient temperature is above 5°C (41°F), warm up for approximately 3 minutes. If below 5°C (41°F), warm up for approximately 5 minutes at 2000 min⁻¹ (rpm). WARNING: Operating the engine without warm-up shortens the engine's life. This allows lubricating oil to circulate to all parts of the engine.
