Procedure
1. Locate the throttle friction adjustment screw on the front of the remote control unit. WARNING: Do not over-tighten the remote control throttle friction adjustment screw as it could result in difficult handling of the outboard motor, leading to loss of control and severe injury. 2. Turn the throttle friction adjustment screw clockwise to increase friction, or counter-clockwise to decrease friction.
