Spark Plug Installation

1. Tighten the spark plug to the specified torque of 18 N·m (13 ft·lb) [1.8 kgf·m]. (torque: 18 N·m) 2. If a torque wrench is not available when installing a NEW spark plug, tighten it 1/4 to 1/2 a turn past finger-tight. WARNING: Have the spark plug adjusted to the correct torque as soon as possible with a torque wrench. 3. If REUSING an existing spark plug and a torque wrench is not available, tighten it 1/12 a turn past finger-tight. WARNING: Have the spark plug adjusted to the correct torque as soon as possible with a torque wrench. Tools: Torque wrench, Spark plug wrench
