Throttle Grip Friction Adjustment – Tiller Handle Type

1. Locate the throttle friction adjustment screw on the tiller handle. WARNING: Do not overtighten the throttle adjustment screw. Doing so could result in difficult handling of the outboard motor, loss of control, and severe injury. 2. Turn the throttle friction adjustment screw toward Increase to add more friction to the throttle grip. 3. Turn the throttle friction adjustment screw toward Decrease to reduce friction on the throttle grip.
