Procedure
Adding a Fuel Stabilizer for Storage
1. Drain the vapor separator before adding fuel stabilizer. WARNING: Do not leave the vapor separator undrained prior to adding stabilizer, as residual deteriorated fuel can cause system damage. 2. Fill the fuel tank completely with fresh gasoline. Avoid partial fills, as air in the tank promotes fuel deterioration during storage. 3. Add a gasoline stabilizer formulated for fuel storage life extension to the filled fuel tank. 4. If keeping an additional container of gasoline for refueling, ensure it contains only fresh gasoline.
