1. Check the engine oil level. 2. Ensure the cooling water intake is submerged. 3. Open the fuel tank vent screw (in filler cap) on manual venting type fuel tanks. 4. Set the lanyard stop switch to the RUN position. Refer to General Information - Lanyard Stop Switch.
