Lanyard stop switch attachment and length adjustment
1. Insert the element on one end of the lanyard cord into the lanyard stop switch (c). WARNING: Read all Important Safety Information before proceeding. 2. Attach the clip on the other end of the lanyard cord (a) to the operator's PFD or wrist. 3. Verify the lanyard stretched length is 122–152 cm (4–5 ft) to minimize risk of accidental activation when moving near the operator's position. 4. If a shorter lanyard is desired, wrap the lanyard around the operator's wrist or leg, or tie a knot in the lanyard. WARNING: Do not permanently shorten the lanyard in a way that prevents the switch from activating if the operator falls overboard. Parts: Lanyard cord, Lanyard stop switch
