Procedure
1. With the outboard motor installed on the boat, set the manual release valve to the MANUAL side, then tilt the outboard motor up and down manually 5–6 times. WARNING: Trapped air in the Power Tilt unit will cause poor tilting movement and noise. 2. When done, close the manual relief valve by turning it clockwise. (torque: 2 N·m)
