Procedure
1. Remove the stop switch lock. WARNING: When the auxiliary outboard motor is not in operation, failure to follow this procedure may cause over-rotation of the propeller due to water spray and water ingestion, which could damage the outboard motor. 2. Shift the outboard motor into forward gear. 3. Tilt the outboard motor up.
