Carrying the Outboard Motor

1. Keep the outboard motor in a vertical position when carrying. WARNING: Do not give a shock to an outboard motor during transportation. It becomes a cause of breakage. Do not carry or store outboard motor in any of the positions described in the manual; otherwise, engine damage or property damage could result from leaking oil. 2. Close the air vent screw of the fuel tank before carrying or storing the outboard motor and fuel tank. WARNING: Close air vent screw of fuel tank before carrying or storing outboard motor and fuel tank, or fuel may leak, potentially catching fire. 3. Use the optional outboard motor stand to keep the outboard motor vertical both during transport and storage.
