Procedure
1. Stop the engine and set it in a vertical position. 2. Remove the top cowl. 3. Remove the dipstick after 5 minutes the engine has stopped. WARNING: The oil level should be checked when the engine is cold. 4. Wipe oil off the oil dipstick with a clean rag. 5. Put in the dipstick. 6. Take out the dipstick and check the oil level. 7. Return the dipstick.
