Oil Level Checking
1. Check the engine oil level before each use using the dipstick at the oil filler port. WARNING: If the oil level is low or too high, the life of the engine will be shortened significantly. 2. Ensure the oil level is between the Upper limit (Max.) and Lower limit (Min.) marks on the dipstick. 3. Before starting the engine for the first time after reassembling or off-season storage, disconnect the stop switch lock and crank approximately 10 times to prime the oil pump.
