Gear Oil Replacement
1. Tilt down the outboard motor. WARNING: Be sure that outboard motor is secured to transom or service stand, or accidental drop or fall of outboard motor could lead to severe personal injury. 2. Remove the oil plugs (lower and upper), and completely drain the gear oil into a pan. WARNING: Be sure to lock outboard motor if it is tilted up, or accidental fall of outboard motor could lead to severe personal injury. Do not go under outboard motor tilted up and locked. 3. Insert the oil tube nozzle into the lower oil plug hole, and fill with gear oil by squeezing the oil tube until oil flows out of the upper plug hole and bubbles disappear to remove the air.
