Diagnostic · Cause: Outboard motor tilted too high, causing air to be sucked through the water inlet Test: Check that the cooling water intake (water inlet) remains fully submerged during shallow water drive
Spec · 2 N·m (ft·lb: 1.5, kgf·m: 0.2)
Diagnostic · Cause: Manual relief valve left open, releasing hydraulic pressure. Test: Verify manual relief valve is fully closed (turned away from Manual direction) before engine operation.
