Propeller Replacement
1. Put a piece of wood block between the propeller blade and anti-ventilation plate to hold the propeller. WARNING: Do not install or remove propeller with spark plug caps attached, shift in forward or reverse, main switch at other than OFF, engine stop switch lock attached, or starter key attached — engine could accidentally start causing serious personal injury. Disconnecting the battery cable is recommended (if equipped). 2. Remove the split pin, propeller nut, and washer. 3. Remove the propeller and thrust holder. 4. Apply waterproof grease to the propeller shaft before installing a new propeller. 5. Install the thrust holder, propeller, stopper, washer, and propeller nut onto the shaft. WARNING: Do not install propeller without thrust holder, or propeller boss could be damaged. Do not reuse split pin. After installing split pin, spread and bend both ends of the pin apart to lock propeller in place. Tools: gloves, wood block Parts: Propeller, Thrust holder, Washer, Propeller nut, Split pin
