Procedure
1. Turn the throttle grip to reduce engine speed. 2. When the engine reaches trolling (or idling) speed, quickly pull the shift lever to the Reverse position. WARNING: Do not force to shift when the throttle grip is not in the fully closed position, otherwise, steering system and/or shifting mechanism may be damaged.
