Procedure
1. Ensure the throttle grip is in the fully closed position before shifting. WARNING: Do not force to shift when the throttle grip is not in the fully closed position, otherwise the steering system and/or shifting mechanism may be damaged. 2. Move the control lever to the desired position: Forward (F), Neutral (N), or Reverse (R). Fully opened forward and fully opened reverse positions are also available via the control lever.
