Steering Friction Adjustment – EF/MF Type (Tiller Handle)

1. Locate the steering friction adjustment bolt on the swivel bracket. WARNING: Do not overtighten the steering friction bolt. Excessive tightening may cause damage to the swivel bracket and could result in difficult handling, loss of control, and severe injury. 2. Turn the steering friction adjustment bolt clockwise (Increase) to add more friction resistance to the steering. 3. Turn the steering friction adjustment bolt counter-clockwise (Decrease) to reduce friction resistance to the steering.
