Procedure
Emergency Gear Shifting (DBW Type)
1. Set the remote control lever in the NEUTRAL position (refer to p. 25-26). 2. Stop the engine (refer to p. 68). 3. Remove the engine cover (refer to p. 88). 4. Shift gear into NEUTRAL by inserting the Phillips screwdriver with the grip (from tool kit, p. 84) into the hole of the shift actuator and moving the shaft. 5. Start the engine (refer to p. 56). 6. Shift gear into Forward (F) or Reverse (R) by moving the shaft of the shift actuator with the Phillips screwdriver with grip from the tool kit. WARNING: Return to port at the lowest possible engine speed. After returning to port, stop the engine and anchor the boat. Tools: Phillips screwdriver with grip (from tool kit)
