Fast Idle Button Operation for Engine Warm-Up

1. Start the engine normally. Do NOT press the fast idle button during starting. WARNING: Do not use the fast idle button when starting the engine. 2. Ensure the control lever is in the N (Neutral) position. 3. Push in the fast idle button. 4. Move the control lever to F (Forward) or R (Reverse) to increase idle speed. The drive gears will not engage. 5. Allow the engine to warm up at the increased idle speed. Refer to page 66 for full warm-up instructions. 6. Return the control lever to N (Neutral) to cancel the fast idle operation.
