Fuel Priming

1. Hold the priming bulb up in the direction of the arrow (OUTLET END facing the outboard motor side, INLET END facing the tank side). WARNING: Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Stop the engine and let it cool before handling fuel. Keep heat, sparks, and flame away. Handle fuel only outdoors. Wipe up spills immediately. 2. Squeeze the priming bulb several times until it feels firm, indicating that fuel has reached the engine. 3. Check to be sure there are no fuel leaks before starting the engine. WARNING: Do not touch the priming bulb with the engine running or when tilting up the outboard motor. The vapor separator could overflow.
