1. Remove the emergency stop switch clip from the emergency stop switch to prevent accidental engine start. WARNING: The propeller blades may have sharp edges; wear heavy gloves to protect your hands. 2. Remove the cotter pin, unscrew the castle nut, and remove the washer. 3. Remove the propeller and thrust washer. 4. Inspect the propeller shaft for any fishing line or debris. Tools: Wrench
