Starting the Engine via Ignition Switch (DBW Type, without START/STOP switch)

1. Ensure the gearshift/throttle control lever is in the N (neutral) position (refer to p. 56). WARNING: Engine will not start if lever is not in neutral. 2. Confirm the emergency stop switch clip is inserted into the emergency stop switch. WARNING: Engine will not start without the emergency stop switch clip in place. 3. Turn the ignition switch key to the START position to crank and start the engine. 4. Release the key; it will automatically return to the ON position. Tools: Ignition switch key
