Drilling Outboard Mounting Holes

1. Before drilling any mounting holes, carefully read Determining Recommended Outboard Mounting Height and install outboard to the nearest recommended mounting height. WARNING: IMPORTANT: Do not skip the mounting height determination step before drilling. 2. Mark four mounting holes on the transom using the transom drilling fixture (91-98234A2), aligning with the transom centerline. The fixture acts as a template for the engine mounting holes.
