Remote Steering Link Rod Fastening
1. Connect the steering link rod from the steering cable to the engine. WARNING: Improper fasteners or improper installation procedures can result in loosening or disengagement of the steering link rod, causing sudden, unexpected loss of boat control, resulting in serious injury or death. 2. Fasten the steering link rod using self-locking nuts only. Never replace self-locking nuts with common (non-locking) nuts, as they will work loose and vibrate off, freeing the link rod to disengage.
