Operating at High Elevations – Carburetor Jet Change

1. If operating above 762 m (2500 ft.) above sea level, consult your dealer about a carburetor jet change to reduce performance loss caused by reduced oxygen and an overly rich fuel mixture. 2. If jets were changed for high elevation operation, change them back to correspond to the new (lower) elevation before operating at a lower elevation. WARNING: Do not operate the outboard at a lower elevation with high-elevation jets installed; this causes a lean fuel mixture that may result in serious engine damage.
