Digital Throttle and Shift (DTS) – ERC Alternate Operational Modes Overview
1. Use the Trim Control (handle) [Item a] to raise or lower the engines for best efficiency or for conditions such as shallow water or trailering. 2. Observe NEUTRAL lights [Item b]: they illuminate when the drive is in neutral gear position, and flash when the engine is in Throttle Only mode. 3. Press TRANSFER [Item c] to transfer boat control to a different helm. Refer to Helm Transfer procedure. 4. Engage DOCK mode [Item d] to reduce throttle capacity to approximately 50% of normal control lever throttle demand for precision docking. 5. Press [+] [Item e] to increase brightness settings for the CAN pad, VesselView, and SmartCraft gauges. 6. Engage THROTTLE ONLY mode [Item f] to increase engine RPM for warm-up without shifting the transmission into gear. 7. Press [–] [Item g] to decrease brightness settings for the CAN pad, VesselView, and SmartCraft gauges.
