Gear Shifting Procedure (DTS Panel Mount Remote Control)

1. Ensure engine speed is at idle before shifting the outboard into gear. WARNING: Never shift outboard into gear unless engine speed is at idle. Do not shift into forward or reverse when the engine is not running. 2. Select the desired gear position: Forward (F), Neutral (N), or Reverse (R). 3. When shifting between gears, always stop at the Neutral (N) position and allow the engine speed to return to idle before engaging the next gear.
