Diagnostic · Cause: Excessive trim-out (trim up) condition Test: Reduce trim angle and observe whether porpoising and ventilation cease
Spec · Even with the bottom of the fill hole
Procedure · 1. Turn the ball ends to work the lubricant into the ball sockets.
Diagnostic · Cause: Outboard trimmed out too far, raising cooling water intake holes above the waterline Test: Verify cooling water intake holes are below waterline at current trim angle
