Daily Inspection – Electrical Equipment

1. Check that the main switch functions normally. Replace if faulty. 2. Check that the battery electrolyte level and specific gravity are normal. Replenish or recharge as needed. 3. Check for loose connections on the battery terminal. Retighten if loose. 4. Check that the stop switch functions normally and make sure the lock plate is secured. Remedy or replace if faulty. 5. Check cords for loose connections and damage. Correct or replace as needed. 6. Check the spark plugs for dirt, wear, and carbon build-up. Clean or replace as needed.
