Flushing engine using test tank
1. Remove the propeller before starting the engine in the test tank. (See page 70) WARNING: Do not start engine without removing propeller; accidentally turning propeller could cause personal injury. 2. Ensure the water level in the test tank is at least 10 cm (4 in.) above the anti-ventilation plate to avoid overheating and water pump damage. 3. Start the engine and run only at idling speed. WARNING: Never start or operate the engine indoors or in any space which is not well ventilated. Exhaust gas contains carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas which can be fatal if inhaled for any length of time. Parts: Flushing attachment (option)
