Procedure
1. Before opening the manual relief valve, make sure nobody is under the outboard motor. If the outboard motor is in the tilted-up position with the manual relief valve loosened, the outboard motor will tilt down suddenly. WARNING: Ensure no person is beneath the outboard motor before loosening the manual relief valve. 2. Tighten the manual relief valve to the specified torque of 2 N·m (1.5 ft·lb, 0.2 kgf·m). (torque: 2 N·m)
