• Manual Tilt (Standard) - Tilt Down

  Procedure · 1. Slightly tilt the motor up. 2. Pull the tilt lever toward you to release the tilt-lock. 3. Lower the motor slowly to the tilt down position.

• Outboard motor tilts up when operated in reverse

  Diagnostic · Cause: Manual relief valve is open/not fully closed Test: Inspect and confirm the manual relief valve is fully closed before engine operation
