Starting Engine in Test Tank

1. Remove the propeller before starting the engine in the test tank. 2. Ensure the water level in the test tank is over 10 cm (4 in.) above the intake. WARNING: Run the engine only at idling speed when using a test tank. 3. Verify that the cooling water check port is discharging water after starting. WARNING: Stop the engine immediately if cooling water check port is not discharging water. Check if cooling water intake is blocked. Operating the engine without cooling water flow could lead to overheating and engine damage. Consult an authorized dealer if the cause cannot be found.
