Warm Up Engine Without Engaging Gear

1. Ensure the gearshift/throttle control lever is in the NEUTRAL position. 2. Press and hold the [-] switch. 3. While holding the [-] switch, turn the gearshift/throttle control lever forward past the shift point. WARNING: Do not release the [-] switch before moving the lever; releasing it after the lever is moved will cause the gearshift mechanism to become non-functional in this mode. 4. Continue turning the lever forward to open the throttle and increase engine speed as desired.
