Cause: Fuel system not primed (e.g., new engine, ran out of fuel, or fuel was drained) Test: Turn ignition to ON for ~5 seconds, then turn to START and release; engine cranks up to 8 seconds. Repeat until engine remains running, allowing 20–30 seconds of starter motor cool-down between attempts.
