Accessory Mounting – Unacceptable Practices

1. Do NOT mount any accessory to the transom clamp bracket in an unsupported condition. See Figure 2 (ID: 54625). WARNING: Unsupported accessory mounting on the transom clamp bracket is not permitted. 2. Do NOT attach any accessory to the boat using the engine-supplied mounting fasteners or engine mounting hardware. See Figure 3 (ID: 53523). WARNING: Engine mounting fasteners must be used exclusively to secure the engine to the transom or jack plate. They must not be used for any secondary purpose.
