Procedure
1. Always carry spare fuses. WARNING: The electrical wiring circuits on the outboard are protected from overload by fuses in the wiring. If a fuse is blown, try to locate and correct the cause of the overload before replacing. If the cause is not found, the fuse may blow again.

Diagnostic · Cause: Open circuit in the alternator output wire (fused link)
Spec · Within cross-hatched region between bottom bar and top bar conditions={"note":"Do not attempt to fill to the top of the operating range; oil is correct as long as it appears anywhere within the cross-hatched region"}
Procedure · 1. Open the fuse holder. 2. Look at the silver colored band inside the fuse. If the band is broken, the fuse is blown. 3. Replace the blown fuse with a new fuse of the same amperage rating.
Diagnostic · Cause: Blown 15 amp fuse — check 14 pin remote control harness/cowl trim switch/main power relay fuse
