Procedure
1. Reduce engine speed to trolling (or idling) speed. WARNING: Personal injury and/or equipment damage may occur if shifting at high speed. Engine must be in the slow running position before shifting is attempted. 2. Quickly push the shift lever to the Reverse (R) position. WARNING: Do not increase engine speed more than necessary in reverse.
