Procedure
1. Inspect the accessory drive belt for any of the following conditions: cracks in the back of the belt or in the base of V grooves; excessive wear at the roots of the grooves; rubber portion swollen by oil; belt surfaces roughened; signs of wear on edges or outer surfaces of belt. 2. If any of the above conditions are found, have the belt replaced by an authorized dealer.
