Accessory Mounting Plate Installation at Transom Clamp Bracket

1. Ensure the accessory mounting plate does not rest in the radius of the transom clamp bracket, maintaining a minimum clearance of 3.175 mm (0.125 in.) — refer to Figure 1. WARNING: Installation must not create interference issues; an accessory mounting plate resting in the radius of the transom clamp bracket is not permitted. 2. Use engine-supplied mounting fasteners (item e) for primary attachment. 3. Install accessory manufacturer-supplied fasteners (item f) through unused engine mounting bracket holes as required.
