Helm Transfer – Dual Helm Boats

1. Ensure ERC levers at the active helm are in the neutral position. 2. Ensure ERC levers at the helm intended for the transfer are also in the neutral position. 3. Press the TRANSFER button to initiate the helm transfer. WARNING: Never leave the active station while the engine is in gear. Helm transfer should only be attempted while both stations are manned. One-person helm transfer should only be performed while engine is in neutral. 4. If a beep sounds and transfer fails, confirm both helm ERC levers are in neutral, then request transfer again. 5. Complete the helm transfer fully before performing any other control or navigation inputs to avoid setting fault codes on VesselView. 6. If fault codes appear on VesselView after an interrupted helm transfer, cycle the key switch off and then on, then restart the helm transfer procedure.
