Protecting Internal Engine Components for Storage

1. Refer to Maintenance – Spark Plug Inspection and Replacement for correct procedure for removing spark plugs. 2. Remove pencil coils and spark plugs. 3. Spray approximately 30 ml (1 fl oz) of Storage Seal Rust Inhibitor (Part No. 92-858081K03) into each spark plug hole. 4. Actuate key/push button start switch to crank the engine through one start cycle to distribute the storage seal throughout the cylinders. 5. Install spark plugs and pencil coils.
