Requesting Helm Transfer

1. At the helm you are requesting be made active, ensure ERC levers are in neutral, then press the TRANSFER button one time. The transfer button light turns on and one beep sounds confirming the impending transfer. WARNING: Any movement of the ERC levers after pressing the TRANSFER button terminates the helm transfer request. A single beep sounds and the transfer button light turns off signaling the end of the transfer request. 2. With the TRANSFER button light and neutral light on, press the TRANSFER button a second time to complete the helm transfer. WARNING: If the ERC levers at the helms are not in neutral, the neutral lights will flash. Move all ERC levers to neutral until the neutral light stops flashing before proceeding. 3. Confirm the helm transfer is complete: another beep sounds and the transfer button light turns off. WARNING: If the helm transfer is not completed within 10 seconds, the request is automatically cancelled and a double beep sounds. Control remains at the existing active helm. Press the TRANSFER button again to restart the helm transfer. 4. The helm where the transfer request was initiated is now active and controls the vessel.
