Procedure
1. Locate the sacrificial anode(s) on the gear case, cylinder, etc. 2. Inspect the anode. If it is eroded more than 1/3 of its original size, replace it. 3. For the CD unit anode (*2): Remove the CD unit to access the anode. 4. Install the new anode and re-tighten the anode attaching bolt securely, as it is likely to be subjected to electrolytic corrosion. WARNING: Never grease or paint the anode. 5. At each subsequent inspection, re-tighten the anode attaching bolt.
