Procedure
1. Completely drain all fuel from the outboard motor before laying it down. WARNING: Failure to drain fuel before laying the motor down may result in fuel spillage or fire hazard. 2. Lay the outboard motor with the port side facing down on a cushion as shown in the manual diagram.
