Trim Tab Adjustment

1. Stop the engine before adjusting the trim tab. 2. Loosen the trim tab bolt located above the trim tab. 3. Turn the trim tab to the desired position to compensate for torque steer (unequal steering effort). 4. Tighten the trim tab bolt securely. WARNING: Ensure bolt is tightened securely before operating the motor. 5. Verify that steering effort is equal in both directions after adjustment. Refer to TRIM TAB ADJUSTMENT on p. 87 for further detail. Tools: wrench/socket (trim tab bolt)
