Lubricate tilt lever and swivel pin grease fittings

1. Completely retract the end of the steering cable before applying lubricant to avoid hydraulic lock. WARNING: Incorrect cable lubrication can cause hydraulic lock, leading to serious injury or death from loss of boat control. Completely retract the end of the steering cable before applying lubricant. 2. Apply grease to the tilt lever grease fitting (a). 3. Apply grease to the swivel pin grease fitting (b). 4. Lubricate the steering link rod pivot points with lightweight oil.
