Battery installation — safe handling
1. Read all warnings shown on the battery case before handling. WARNING: Battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid — causes burns on skin contact, loss of sight on eye contact, and is poisonous if swallowed. Keep battery and electrolyte away from children. 2. Wear safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling the battery to prevent electrolyte contact with skin or eyes. 3. If electrolyte contacts skin, flush thoroughly with water immediately. 4. If electrolyte contacts eyes, flush thoroughly with water and seek immediate medical treatment. 5. If electrolyte is swallowed, seek immediate medical treatment.
